Position Description:
This position will implement and administer Version Control tool for the Continuous Integration Services team in UHG IT. The tool is currently Subversion used for all distributed applications within UnitedHealth Group.
Primary Responsibilities:
Vision in how to continue to grow and adapt our service offerings
Drive the engagement process with each application team to migrate their source code into Subversion
Work with application teams to troubleshoot and educate teams on Subversion usage
Facilitate the transition of application version control processes into our environment.
Develop enterprise standards and integrate into the Continuous Integration build process

Requirements:
1+ year minimum experience working with Subversion
3+ years experience working with other version control systems
1+ year minimum experience with development tools
1+ year experience working in a Continuous Integration environment
3+ years experience working with UNIX and/or Windows scripting
High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years experience or Bachelors Degree
Assets:
Solid understanding of merging in Subversion and other version control systems
Experience with distributed version control systems, such as Git or Mercurial
Experience programming in Bash, Python or Windows PowerShell
Experience in customer support and troubleshooting
Experience in a global 24 x 7 environment
Previous development experience
