Responsibilities - Participation in performance tuning of applications within the compliance, legal and risk mitigation portfolio. - Participates in solution design and assures quality, while minimizing negative impacts on other applications and business processes. - Manages the development of technical solutions by vendors and ensure solutions meet technical standards, design and performance requirements. - Ensure bundle deliverables are aligned with POA architectural standards and deploy the appropriate reuse of common objects - Develops effective working relationships with vendors to produce high quality deliverables. - Mentor, consult and provide direction to out task vendor partners both on-shore & off-shore. - Ensure BAU bundle deliveralbes meet expectations regarding cost, schedule and scope - Participates in the development of system requirements and develops technical estimates for new intiaitves - Anticipate and promote technical uplift initiatives (upgrades, re-platform, etc) - Ensure bundle technology standard exceptions/variances are managed and kept current - Support Director in corporate/department intiiatives - For produciton support, serve as a consultant to the vendor(s) for business critical issues - Mentors new or less experienced Technology Analysts and also assists in their professional development.
Required Qualifications - 2-5 years experience with more than one of the following: JAVA, AIX, Websphere, XML, Microsoft SQL Server - Experience and understanding with all stages of SDLC - Proven experience in vendor technical product implementations and custom application development through vendor resources. - Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information to a non technical audience and to direct technical resources to resolution. - Demonstrated experience with budget forecasting and tracking of technology assets - Experience with system upgrades and system integration implementations. - Ability to drive results through optimized/mixed Resourcing strategies - Excellent problem solving, analysis and critical thinking skills - Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player with the ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks.
Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge and experience with GCO, Compliance & Risk Mitigation systems and the business units being supported by the bundle. - Strong understanding of AQMS and our Release, Problem and Change management procsses. - Team Connect Enterpries knowledge & experience (application, tools & underlying data structures) - Effective verbal and written communication skills with a successful track record of building and maintaining strong business relationships.
