At present, we are looking for a talented individual to help us increase our PEMCO position in our market space. 
 
The Supplier Marketing Specialist will have the primary responsibility to drive the growth of Specific Arrow Supplier's Programs within a given Market.  The main purpose of the position is to increase revenue and gross profits dollars within the supplier technologies for the branch or region.  As the Supplier Marketing Specialist for the branch you will be the key contact/interface between the various Arrow organizations (FAE, Local/Central PM's, Pricing Specialists, Sales, SSG) and the supplier's network operating at the local level.
Duties will include but are not limited to the tracking and reporting of all supplier opportunities (cradle to grave), supporting TAM to DTAM conversions, development and implementation of local reps supplier strategic business plans, Tech Storm involvement and participation, quarterly business review sessions as well as the SPOC for all strategic business and/or supplier opportunities. The Supplier Marketing Specialist will also be responsible in driving gross margin optimization and common work adoption at a local level while participating in local sales calls to drive PEMCO specialization and mindshare within accounts. They will also spearhead all customer opportunities as well as communicate new product introduction and supplier product focus to the local Arrow Sales force. They will educate field on tools and processes within a given supplier.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
-Serve as a FSR resource for account visits to drive PEMCO specialization and mindshare within accounts. Provide guidance in developing PEMCO growth strategies within the account, through in depth knowledge of suppliers, their products, market uses and lead management within SFDC for customer base expansion. Coordinate joint account calls with suppliers and reps along with follow-up process for open actions.
-Drive and maintain local supplier relationships with a focus on the centralized suppliers requiring local touch point. Be the main point of contact within the branch for all supplier activities. This includes developing a thorough understanding of the supplier products, market uses and lead management within SFDC for customer base expansion. 
-Provide market intelligence and be a resource to the PEMCO Quote Strategist and SMR on Setting the PEMCO strategy within a given account and/or quote opportunity. Close gap withcentral product management to ensure tactical execution is met.
- Participate in the Tech Storm process with local field team and technical resources to provide specific supplier product information to generate revenue opportunities with customers. Utilize the information captured during the tech storm process to drive closure within assigned lines.
-Drive the local Supplier Quarterly Business Review process and provide feedback to corporate supplier teams. Ensure alignment between local and corporate objectives.  Understand the marketshare gaps by supplier and drive business plan to address those needs.
-Develop expertise knowledge on the supplier products in order to create and deliver training collateral to ensure sales force has relevant and up-to-date product specifications and understands its uses in the marketplace.
The ideal candidate will be goal driven with 3 to 5 years business experience and have a full understanding of financial metrics. Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and can build relationships from the ground up. Communication and diplomacy skills are a must.  Must be able to analyze market data for trends and present findings. PEMCO or Connector supplier and technology expertise is required.
 
Qualifications
Good Business Judgment: Understanding the priorities for both the Supplier and Arrow.  Being able to place the correct focus and emphasis on the pieces of the business that will generate the greatest rate of return.  It will require the ability evaluate the situations, scope the urgency, and elevate the issues while maintaining control.
Flexibility:Overcome any obstacles with the supplier. Making "Doing Business' as easy as possible for the sales teams and the Supplier local teams.  Being able to adjust to changing market trends, customer demands and supplier requirements.
Interpersonal Requirements:  Ability to build and maintain internal/external professional relationships with suppliers, reps and sales personnel.  Develop/obtain the skills required to successfully position the Supplier and Arrow against all competitors.
Show Initiative: By understanding the competitive landscape you should be able to offer more informed solutions both internally and externally.  Provide guidance or offer suggestion even if not asked directly.
Deliver Results:  Works towards a common goal and can provide updates in an easy to understand format.  Apprises the team when a goal is not being met and establishes a "Get Well" program to put the business back on track.  Is accountable for all results related to the Supplier initiatives.
