Senior Quality Assurance Specialist
POSITION CAN RESIDE ANY US LOCATION
Summary: Conduct quality reviews for the operational processing functions supporting the International Business Unit. Provide positive and constructive feedback to support performance improvement and operational consistency. Coordinate and conduct audits for compliance with legal, pricing, and basic operations requirements. Functions include: choosing accounts, reviewing for accuracy according the QA plan, conducting rebuttal sessions with field staff, providing basic reports to management as needed.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for completing quality reviews of work processed by employees in International Business Unit Choose accounts according to standards spelled out in Quality Audit Procedures Manual. Apply standards to accounts reviewed for scoring. Work with field staff on rebuttals of audit results. Advise International Quality Director on compliance to Procedures Manual. Clearly and effectively communicate quality assurance findings to managers and employees. Participate in quality review, calibration, and appeals meetings. Maintain a solid understanding of current products, forms, coverage, billing procedures and sales techniques. Identify trends and areas for improvement and provides input to Canada Director of Quality. Utilize system applications necessary to perform, monitor, track, document the specific job function QA Programs. Provide input to the development of review tools to be used in the quality review process May prepare monthly QA reports (individual and management) and related MI for error analysis and assessment
Education/Work Experience College Degree or equivalent experience relevant to the business
Other Strong verbal and written communication skills Provide feedback in clear, concise and professional manner Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems within the business context Able to handle multiple priorities effectively Demonstrated insurance and systems knowledge across functional areas of business center Strong knowledge of Property/Casualty Insurance Customer service skills Solid Teamwork skills Demonstrated computer savvy (Excel/Access/Lotus Notes/Power Point, etc.)
