Job Summary
Join Ceridian's financial analyst group and lead the revenue forecasting for the HR Payroll business unit ($500M in revenue), including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinating long-range and annual planning activities for the team and lead the roll-up and communication of monthly results to executive management
* Developing key management reporting tools, built best in class financial forecasting and modeling, and identify and analyze key business metrics - including time to cash, cancelations and losses, same store sales, and customer profitability
* This position requires an individual with proven experience in developing strong business relationships and communications with business units, senior executives, and finance leadership teams
* This person will matrix across the HR Payroll team to to collect, analyze, and communicate financial results, along with sharing best practices
* This position will have peak workloads that require significant dedication and will have many ad hoc, short notice projects. This person will need to manage multiple competing priorities for on time delivery and work independently in an unstructured environment
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in a finance-related area. MBA or CPA a plus
* This position requires a minimum of 5-7 years of financial analysis experience with proven results in leading forecasting and budgeting processes, developing analytics to drive business results, and ability to work in a matrixed environment
* Demonstrated technical proficiency with financial applications including Microsoft Access and Excel
* Financial forecasting and modeling experience preferred
* The selected candidate will need to display leadership abilities, be a change agent, be self-motivated, and have a high degree of initiative
