Primary Function:
& Major Responsibilities Supervises and directs the daily operation of the Evening/Night shift staff for St. Joseph's Laboratory.

Manages the day-to-day operations during the evening/night shift to ensure that the department meets the needs and expectations of HealthEast and its customers.

Responsible for human resources management within areas of responsibility to achieve quality services and positive employee relations.

Provides fiscal management for areas of responsibility to ensure proper utilization of financial resources.

Reviews, follows and understands established laboratory quality assurance and quality control procedures.

Complies with laboratory safety and Infection control policies to ensure a safe work environmen

Qualifications: Education:
Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology or an appropriate Biological, Chemical, or Physical Sciences degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ASCP or NCA certified.
Experience:
Minimum of four years experience in specialty under a qualified laboratory director.
