Our client: MoneyGram is looking to hire SharePoint Deployment Project Lead. This is a fulltime permanent role in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. We are looking for candidates with US Citizenship, Green Card and a valid H1-B visa. Some relocation assistance is available for the right candidate
NOTE: This is a fulltime permanent role in St. Louis Park, MN. Candidates interested in this role will have to relocate to or near St. Louis Park, Minnesota for this opportunity.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The SharePoint Deployment Project Lead will be dedicated to the successful introduction of SharePoint environments into MGI and their continued success as productive environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in the definition of SharePoint business stakeholders, requirements, and governance processes ensuring a enterprise wide deployment of SharePoint is successful.
Champion governance and usage guidelines for all SharePoint environments and support processes relate to those initiatives.
Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization and facilitate the integration with SharePoint where possible.
Engage and lead external resources to assist with the deployment of SharePoint as needed.
Work across teams to ensure the highest level of SharePoint performance and availability.
Evaluate, suggest and implement third party SharePoint software as needed.
Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including IT management, development teams and end users.
Assist in performing maintenance and management of DEV, QA, and Production SharePoint farms.
Knowledge transfer of SharePoint and 3rd party tools to immediate team members and others within technology.
Document SharePoint configuration. Actively participate in the ongoing architecture of SharePoint, serving as the technical consultant and expert on SharePoint.
Requirements:
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
The ideal candidate must have 5+ years’ experience working with SharePoint. The ideal candidate must be well versed in the deployment of SharePoint within a large environment
The ideal candidate must be well versed with Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft .NET framework.
Experience with working with 3rdparty products that are added on to SharePoint for additional capabilities.
Previous experience working with cross-functional teams within the Company and/or IT.
Knowledge of document capture, setting up search engines and department web pages.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal, including experience writing justifications, training users.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical issues and resolve problems at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
Proven ability to be prepared and organized to answer customer questions and to provide updates and information on areas of expertise.
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple technical projects and tasks concurrently.
Experience effectively working independently on complex technical task with minimal supervision.
Must have the ability to be on call, 24x7 during project deployment.
