Description
Our Rosemount refinery is addin a Machinery Asset Coordinator (Rotating) role. This is a rotating equipment professional responsible for reliability, engineering and troubleshooting of on site rotating equipment. Performing the role, you will define maintenance and reliability strategies for on site rotating machinery (compressors, pumps, fans, turbines, etc). Day to day activity will revolve around directing daily maintenance on machinery, leading long term improvements, and interacting with mechanics, millwrights, operations, plant management and other equipment engineers.
Additional responsibilities will be (but are not limited to):
Technical advisor to internal customers on machinery issues
Provide scope definition to repairs and upgrades to improve equipment reliability
Manage LDAR first attempt program for machinery
Analyze vibration and equipment performance analysis
Support development of operator unit equipment knowledge
Monitor machinery health and performance
Drive reliability efforts to reduce machinery failures
Track machinery PM compliance & quality to maximize unit availability
Comply with Process Safety Management & Process Hazard Analysis requirements.
Ensure excellence in environmental, safety and other areas of compliance
Perform root cause failure analysis (RCFA) on equipment failures
Required:
B.S. Mechanical Engineering degree or 5+ years of rotating machinery technical expertise
Preferred:
Familiar with API standards for rotating equipment
Experience working with rotating equipment in the refinery/petrochemical industry
Vibration certification
Hands on expertise encompassing plant, project, maintenance and reliability engineering
Failure analysis training
Preventative/Predictive Maintenance application training
