U.S. Bank is seeking a Technology Consultant with strategic and influencing experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Consults on a wide spectrum of existing and emerging technologies. Reviews high-risk technology projects for compatibility with IT standards and strategic direction. Consults with IT management and technical staff regarding use of current technologies. Recommends technology alternatives, providing clear alignment of the technology's strengths and weaknesses against the business objectives. Participates in evaluation, selection, and application of new and emerging tools and techniques. Evaluates compliance with current and future technology standards and portfolios. Analyzes market trends and experiences with new and emerging technologies. Keeps current with existing standards and thoroughly understands the risks associated with bypassing the standards. Provides input and suggestions to improve the usability of the standard and to drive it forward. Maintains relationships with key vendors. Monitors the architecture of the vendors offering to ensure continued compatibility of the U.S. Bank technology portfolio.

The primary focus for this position will be the Performance Reporting service provided by the ETSAS program administration team. Additionally, this position will play a utility role in the program administration space providing Operational Excellence, Financial Management, and Collaboration Support

Basic Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 8 years experience with developing and implementing applications.
-At least 3 years experience with the concepts, philosophies and tools behind the design of applications, information and underlying information technologies.

- Demonstrates extensive abilities with consolidation, reporting, and analytics, including the leveraging and utilization of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, to create deliverables.

- Creates presentation slides; team methodologies and tools; policies and procedures; and other standard business communications.
