Territory (if applicable): Corporate Business Unit: Corporate encompasses the core operational support for all Land O'Lakes businesses. It includes Business Development Services, Corporate Market Strategy and Communications, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Information Technology and Public Affairs. Position Purpose: As an individual contributor, the Project Manager is responsible for the on-time, on-budget, high quality deliverables of the project plan. The Project Manager ensures project adherence to best practices and is seen as a leader throughout the organization. Professional level role. Works independently or on a team. Performs tasks of moderate to high complexity that requires knowledge of multiple business areas, project management expertise and understanding of IS foundations Required (Basic) Experience & Education: 5-7 years of successfully leading progressively increasing complex projects. Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work. Successful management of $1-3 MM projects. Required Competencies & Other Skills: Strong demonstrated leadership skills. High initiative. Goal oriented. Ability to work in matrix organization. Strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent experience with MS Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Preferred Experience & Education: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Experience and or knowledge of different System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts - (Waterfall, Iterative-- e.g. RUP, Agile). A Masters degree in Business Administration would be a plus. Preferred Competencies & Other Skills: Knowledge of the Clarity Project Portfolio Management software.
