70% of Job Responsibilities- This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Custom Manufacturing with a variety of manufacturing, production, inventory, and purchasing duties. Some of the primary duties are as follows: 1. Assist with purchasing and expediting raw materials, parts, and supplies based on manufacturing needs. 2. Run inventory safety stock report and maintain adequate inventory levels. 3. Accurately handle the W.I.P. inventory cycle counting. 4. Create and maintain custom inventory assembly builds within the business software. 5. Perform Project Costing. 6. Prepare Task Schedules.
30% of Job Responsibilities- This position is responsible for an important accounting task as needed and for customer service back up. The primary responsibilities are as follows: 1. Monitor the aging of accounts receivable to identify customers with past due balances as needed. 2. Perform collections in an effective and timely by resolving customer issues or other circumstances that may delay payment as needed. 3. Back-up customer service with the timely and accurate receipt and completion of quotes and sales orders.
Qualifications: 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment in an assistant or coordinator role. 1 year of general accounting experience. 1 year in a sales or customer service role preferred. Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise Manufacturing software preferred. Experience with Microsoft Excel.
