This consumer products company is looking for a Product Manager for one of their largest specialty divisions which are number one in market share. This is a new expansion position. This PM will be responsible for doing the planning, marketing and execution of the entire product line for the Target account. .You will be working with product managers, designers, and purchasing, business analysts and will be meeting with the Target buyers. You will be responsible for the entire product life cycle and will define the strategic vision. They want a PM who has a creative sense and an eye for trend product and excels at the creative process of project management. This position will support the division's director of product development and requires some travel overseas to work with factories and customers. The PM will set pricing to meet revenue and profit goals, analyze competitive data, implement strategic initiatives, and be responsible for product development from creation to completion, while maintaining deadlines. They want a team player who will work cross functionally with sales, design, customer support and finance. To qualify for this opportunity they want a BS degree, three years of experience as a product manage or an assistant PM in the consumer products industry developing and selling to the mass retail market, preferably in developing trend products either seasonal or non-seasonal in categories such as giftware, patio, lawn and garden, home décor, candy, halloween, christmas, fashion, stationary, etc. If you're interested please submit a resume.
