Title: PeopleSoft HCM Developer
Location: Eden Prairie, MN (55343)
Duration: 3+ months, possible Contract-to-hire
The Senior PeopleSoft Developer will be responsible for the daily production support and maintenance of the PeopleSoft HCM system. This will include the analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of new functionality as well as analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. The Senior PeopleSoft Developer must have the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the HR/Payroll staff to provide analysis, design and technical support
Partner with the HR team to analyze, plan, schedule, test and deploy HCM Application and Tools upgrades using Change Assistant
Maintain Development/Test environment on SQL Server 2008 platform
Maintain interfaces with external vendors
Maintain internal interfaces (ETL) with Oracle ERP system
Analyze and apply regulatory updates on a timely basis, e.g. Tax Updates and patches
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Document all modifications to delivered objects using standard documentation procedures
Code complex/integrated customizations and/or solutions using PeopleTools and related technologies (SQR, Application Engine, CI, PeopleCode, XML, etc.)
Provide support and maintenance of existing customizations and application functionality
Requirements
Bachelor*s degree in Information Technology or related field
5+ years supporting PeopleSoft the HCM application (Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting)
Must have experience with PeopleSoft 8.8 or higher
Strong project management and time management skills
Strong communications and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong HCM troubleshooting skills, evaluates information / data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve
Proven ability to work independently as well as participate as a team member
Experience writing and maintaining SQR programs, using Integration Broker and writing Component Interfaces
Experience implementing PeopleSoft HCM Application and PeopleTools upgrades
Preferred Qualifications
PeopleSoft v9.x experience
Experience using SQL 2008 Management Studio desired
Experience writing and maintaining Microsoft SSIS packages desired
