On-Site Project Manager
The MBC Group is recruiting to fill a Minneapolis based Project Manager to lead/coordinate activities around the design and production of materials for a major customer’s Point of Sale materials. The position will be on-site at the client’s In-Store Design Center with occasional travel dictated by the customer.
Customer Specific Key Responsibilities:
Display Marketing
1. Provide ISDT/Curb teams with BMN #s and relevant POS information via Special Pack Tracker
2. Communicate pricing in order to receive sign off from the greater Display Marketing team before placing orders
3. Place orders, ensure on-time delivery, and track shipments for all DM materials
4. Partner with Ad Warehouse to notify shipments arriving at the facility
5. Send store lists to News America and communicate shipment arrival date
6. Document and report event executions and program usage weekly
7. Check and close out inventory at CSF after each DM event
8. Order materials for ISDC to keep the space updated with appropriate event POS
9. Set up POS at Champions Corner to promote Power Events
Project Qlic
1. Manage all tasks related to materials management for digital printing projects
2. Request/assign new codes, ensure complete set up in item/material management system, supply warehousing information
3. Manage creation, updates and changes to Bill of Materials and specifications for digital materials
4. Place orders, ensure on-time delivery, track shipments
5. Monitor material inventories and replenish as appropriate for the project needs
6. Provide disposition guidance and execute disposition process at the end of each project
7. Collaborate with LBMs, OBMs, ISDO (In-Store Design Operations) to meet customer requirements for custom material needs
8. Build timelines and manage expectations and exceptions
9. Communicate on all aspects of materials – delivery, inventory positions, material shortages, disposition, etc.
10. Update tracker as needed for digital materials (fields related only to materials)
11. Collaboration tool for LBMs, Curb Crowser, and Material Partners)
12. Leverage Continuous Improvement tools and processes
13. Be an active part of the In-Store Design Team
14. Attend team meetings
15. Provide input on processes and possible improvements
16. Work collaboratively with other functions inside and outside the team
Specific Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare initial BOM for each project with project volumes for initial price estimates
2. Prepare summary price quote for each program based on approved price estimates
3. Track and coordinate deadlines with Structural Design all design revisions, ensuring all revisions are properly communicated and completed on-time
4. Ensure final volumes and delivery points are communicated via Purchase Orders to our key suppliers with sufficient lead times
5. Provide weekly updates on each project to MBC Brookville Team
6. Research and communicate key findings of in-store trends for client from ISDT/Curb in-store visits
7. Prepare end-of-project wrap ups (financial, inventory) and lessons learned
8. Leverage Qlic Digital capabilities for additional POS opportunities.

2. Undergraduate degree in graphic or structural design
3. Demonstrated Project Management skills from design/conceptualization to execution in packaging or point of sale materials
