Top Career Solutions has teamed with a local company to hire a Network Engineer in Edina, MN. This will be an in-house testing role to design and configure network equipment. Ideal candidate will be certified in Cisco and be willing to cross-train into Juniper, or vice versa.
Duties:
Configure, Test, and Design both Cisco and Juniper networks.
Acts in a strategic role in the development and maintenance of a voice/data network.
Conducts technology and network assessments.
Serves as the highest level voice and/or data network consultant to internal clients and technical management in all areas of the business to ensure conformity with corporate network architecture.
Present technical information along with financial impacts to management and business clients to obtain approvals and funding for projects.
Perform preventative maintenance and security administration functions.
Set service expectations for changes with vendors and coordinate delivery of their services.
Accountable and responsible for software and hardware updates of telecommunications, video and conferencing systems.
Troubleshoot problems associated with services for clients. Work with users, vendors and other technical personnel to identify and resolve problems and malfunctions and perform repairs.

5+ years experience as Network Engineer
Certified in Cisco (CCIE or CCNP) or Juniper (JNCIE or JNCIP) is Required
