We are looking for two Mechanical Engineers to join our Dispensing Systems Engineering group. In this position, you will perform a variety of engineering duties with a focus on new product development. You will use our innovative technology to create and design products that do portion, metering and dilution control. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical and electromechanical systems and components, design, analysis, test, and transfer to manufacturing. Main Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute design activities for new product development.
* Project management including timeline development, specifications and cost estimates for components and systems.
* Develop, test, evaluate, and analyze equipment to determine or prove performance and reliability.
* Identify and evaluate technologies that may advance the performance and reliability of existing and new products.
* Work with and support cross functional teams and business units in development of new product offerings.
* Provide direction to testing and lab support personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline and 5 or more years of relevant experience.
* Legal authorization to work in the United States – no immigration sponsorship is available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with various engineering design and analysis tools. Solidworks and Simulation a plus.
* Strong project management skills
* Effective oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
* Initiative and ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team while handling multiple tasks or projects
* Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications
* Experience with Injection molding design, plastics analysis, component and assembly tolerance stack-up analysis
