JOB SUMMARY:  Working under the supervision of the Marketing and Advertising Manager, this position will support and assist the Vice President of Business Development and Environmental Affairs and Marketing and Advertising Manager in marketing and business development duties.   


 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 



  • Maintain Marketing calendar for all internal activities including client programs, retail sector, corporate sector, and ad bookings.

  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff and agency information.

  • Interact with vendors when necessary including outbound marketing calls, calling for media quotes, etc.

  • Research and analyze demographics, psychographics, customer response rates and related data to provide customized analyses to the Marketing and Advertising Manager that will assist in providing effective client advertising strategies.

  • Maintain systems to track and monitor corporate, client and competitor media coverage.

  • Input data and maintain accuracy for corporate and client marketing and advertising budgets, preparing preliminary client invoicing for products and services as needed.

  • Support retail marketing and advertising administrative needs, upon request, in collaboration with Marketing and Advertising Manager.

  • Maintain Google ® AdWords accounts and reporting.

  • Perform back-end maintenance and review of data on retail administrative website account.

  • Perform general clerical duties that relate to the job to include, but not limited to, bookkeeping, copying, faxing, mailing and filing.

  • Create and modify documents such as reports, memos and letters and using word processing, spreadsheet, database and/or other presentation software such as Microsoft Office or other programs.

  • Compile and maintain monthly reports for marketing department.

  • Conduct research, compile data and prepare marketing information for Marketing and Advertising Manger.

  • Support Business Development Department in assigned projectbased work.

  • Obtain and compile pricing quotes for print, signs, photography, equipment rental and any other quotes that relate to the Business Development Department.

  • Other duties as assigned by Marketing and Advertising Manager and/or Vice President of Business Development and Environmental Affairs.

  • Must provide projects in a timely manner. Must be comfortable working with and supporting senior management and handle information of a confidential nature.


 


Education and Experience



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, marketing or related field.

  • At least two (2) years experience in entry-level support role in a corporate environment.


 


Language Skills



  • Ability to work well either alone or as part of a team.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.


 


Reasoning Ability



  • Ability to think logically, problem solve and grasp concepts quickly.

    • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time including those which may or may not be directly related.




 


Computer Skills



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
