Experience Required: Minimum 5 years management experience. Experience in the implementation and handling of complex accounting issues. Prior public accounting experience or demonstrated strong audit experience in previous finance position required. Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, organizational, communication, negotiating, problem solving skills, performance improvement, and tax compliance/reporting skills. System development experience. Recognized as a leader in financial issues and a subject matter expert for business advice. Prior healthcare or non-profit accounting experience a plus. CPA preferred.
Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. Master's degree preferred. Job Description: Provides leadership and management direction for financial and regulatory reporting, accounting, and accounts payable functions for North Memorial Health Care, Maple Grove Hospital, and various Wholey Owned Subsidiaries and Joint Ventures. In addition, the incumbent provides leadership to the month-end close process, ensures the accuracy and timliness of the financial reporting systems, external/regulatory reporting, coordinates audits, provides financial education function for NMMC, and provides investing analysis. Assists with annual budget and forecasting process. Ensures accuracy and integrity of management financial accounting.
Oversees the management of Accounting to include such activities as service scheduling, utilization management, productivity improvement, materials-resource utilization, and space utilization. Coordinates/collaborates with appropriate support service to provide resource and assistance.
Assures the provision of Accounting information systems and documentation requirements.. Additional Requirements:
