LAN Administrator
Our Boston client has a great long term contract opportunity for a LAN Administrator. This individual will Monitor and respond to most complex technical control facility hardware and software problems utilizing all hardware and software testing tools and techniques. Be the primary interface with vendor support service groups to provide internal analysis and support to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance. Provide technical leadership to and monitor and coordinate the work of the lower level LAN Administrators. Consults on design and configuration issues, including topology, operating systems, and integration issues. Evaluate new technologies and analyzes integration issues with other systems and technologies in and out of business area. Develop vendor evaluation policies and procedures. The successful candidate will have 6+ years experience and meet the following skill requirements: Proficiency with Windows scripting tools (e.g. PowerShell, VB, batch file (CMD). PLUS: Familiarity with Quest Intrust (Event Viewer, AD) products and Varonis Datadvantage. MCSE Preferred.
