The Inside Parts Salesperson is responsible for selling parts and helping customers solve parts problems over the counter or by telephone. This position is responsible for identifying proper part numbers, checking parts availability, recommending and selling parts as a service and as requested by customers; completes parts order forms and enters related information into DBS, which is a AS400 system. Other duties include processing back-orders, returns and exchanges, as well as preparing quotes for service work, including engines, machines, and parts. The hours will be 10:00 am to 6:45 pm.
Qualifications:
* High School diploma, 2 or 4-yr degree preferred * Background in diesel engine, heavy construction, agriculture, or automotive parts sales/service * Ability to work the 10:00 am - 6:45 pm shift * Excellent customer service skills * Strong PC knowledge (MS Office, Lotus Notes and AS400 experience preferred)
