Industrial Controls Engineer
Industrial Controls Engineer-Minneapolis, MN
George Konik Associates is now hiring for an Industrial Controls Engineer for a well-established, fast growing commercial and industrial engineering company in the Minneapolis, MN area.
This position will provide programming and controls engineering support in a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities:
PLC programming with emphasis on the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC platform in an industrial automation environment.
Documentation of programs, implementation, start-up and support.
Responsible for automation control systems and integration projects for clients in industries such as food and beverage, bio-medical or semi-conductors.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering strongly desired.
3-5 years experience in the industrial automation control industry.
An in-depth understanding of control systems, components, ladder logic programming, SCADA programming, i.e. Allen-Bradley, Wonderware and Intellution.
GE Cimplicity application development experience.
PLC experience on GE & Modicon PLCs.
Basic skills in AutoCAD.
Project startup experience is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of co-workers, management and clients.
