Healthcare Provider Engagement Lead

The Engagement Lead will lead a healthcare provider?s implementation of a value-based care delivery model. This position is responsible for all aspects of project deliverables from new clinical and business processes to system implementations. The Engagement Lead will work with the client to develop and execute strategies. We seek a candidate who is passionate about changing health care and who brings extensive market knowledge of the payer and health plan insurance underwriting.

Key Responsibilities include:
+ Work closely with Business Development to create, value and present project proposals.
+ Develop and manage the client relationship, including developing and maintaining a trusted relationship with senior client management, managing all communication regarding the engagement, and developing and presenting proposals for expanded project scope.
+ Plan the engagement deliverables according to the scope and objectives as established by the proposal. The plan will include project phasing with timing and schedule, staffing and resource plan, and budget plan.
+ Manage project delivery including managing the engagement team, managing and reporting on performance of actual delivery against project plan, risk mitigation and management, performance of actual budget against plan, and all client and internal communications.
+ Ensure the quality and timeliness of project deliverables. Monitor and manage to defined project success metrics.
+ Work with Product Development to identify customer needs that can help to create and refine high-impact product and service offerings.
+ Demonstrate high level of understanding of clients business
+ Demonstrate strong health care industry knowledge
+ Evaluate, counsel, mentor, and provide feedback on performance of others

Requirements:

Key Qualifications:
+ BA/BS in Health Information Management, Nursing, Business or Accounting is requred; MBA/MS/MA degree is a plus
+ 5+ years related health sciences industry experience required.
+ Deep knowledge of and direct experience with, health care reimbursement methods is required.
+ Healthcare colsulting experience is preferred.
+ Proven track record leading a large and diverse teams in a clinical setting is required.
+ Ability to see and communicate the big picture, and to understand the details necessary to make it work
+ Direct exposure to clinical operations is strongly preferred.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, including skill creating and delivering formal presentations to large and small groups is required.
+ Demonstrated creativity and success in developing solutions to solve complex healthcare provider business problems is required.
+ Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% to client site(s) is required.
