FINANCIAL ANALYST
Our client, Kuss Filtration, a leading provider of light duty automotive and industrial filtration solutions, is looking for a full-time Financial Analyst for their facility in Bloomer, WI, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The Financial Analyst is part of the leadership team and has overall responsibility for analyzing and reporting financial information needed to make timely business decisions.
Responsibilities include:
Collecting, analyzing, and forecasting the financial performance of the facility.
Building cost budgets and tracking variances between actual and working budgets.
Analyzing the costs and pricing of products and recommending changes as needed.
Loading standard cost information into the TCM system.
Working with the accounts payable staff in conjunction with direct material procurements.
Supporting operations with reviewing labor routings and bills of material for standard cost analysis.
Acting as project coordinator for capital projects (RFA) and prepaid tooling orders (MO’s).
Preparing month end reports for Bloomer facility in coordination with the facility in Findlay, OH.
Requirements:
Qualifications would include:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with at least two years of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment or comparable years of experience.
Ability to analyze information and forecast business trends and recommend changes as needed.
Strong working knowledge of computer software. Excel and data base experience is required. Ability to learn and use company accounting and ERP systems.
Effective communication and presentations skills are essential. The right candidate will be able to analyze the numbers and effectively communicate the findings and recommendations to the leadership team.
