Job Summary
The Director, Client Operations is a key senior leadership position reporting to the VP, Shared Services Learning and Development. This role requires an experienced, senior, visionary leader to design and develop a new P&L business approach and strategy around the external client training experience. This role will be a strategic partner to the Sales organization for generating new revenue sources and upsell opportunities.
Responsibilities:
* In partnership with the Sales organization, create and implement a client training strategy to aggressively grow revenue opportunities, up sell opportunities, and training order growth
* Develop client training analysis and planning through strategic data tracking and reporting
* Create new paradigms of delivery of client training for increased scalability
* Drive productivity of the client training team and ensure alignment of the team to organizational goals and performance metrics
* Maintain a solid understanding of the marketplace from a client view and a competitive view. Keep abreast of competition and trends that may affect the business.
* Develop and inspire highly motivated and accomplished team with necessary skill set
* Evaluate existing customer training practices and outputs for increased proficiency, productivity, incorporating industry best practices
* Build and lead a best in class client training team
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree. Advanced degree preferred
* 7 - 10 years experience in senior role leading a team to deliver superior results, 3-5 of these in a sales environment or a Learning & Development environment
* Proven successful sales and sales management results
* Understanding of the industry
* Innovative, decisive, and possess ability to inspire by creating a sense of mission and attentiveness to delivering results that underscore business strategy
* Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and leadership skills
* Independent decision maker responsible for execution of business objectives for all areas of responsibility
* Track record of building and leading teams of skilled competent staff - guiding them to excel
* Excellent organization skills and ability to produce results under tight deadlines
* Business Acumen - Knows how businesses work; knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends and information affecting his/her business and organization
* Successful change agent who has the ability to transform by bringing change through people and lead through influence
* Exhibit the L&D critical success factors/competencies of: Strategic Business Partnering, Delivering Innovative & Measurable Outputs, Acting as a Change Agent, Engaging with High Integrity, and Displaying Integrated Teamwork Effectiveness
