Collateral Res Appraiser 2
The Collateral Residential Appraiser 2 is responsible for the most complex residential appraisal reviews and consultations regarding properties across the United States. This position will support Wells Fargo Home mortgage and will be a part of the National Underwriting & Production Risk Management team.
- Responsible for the most complex residential evaluations, appraisals, appraisal reviews and provides consultation and guidance to loan officers, underwriters and senior management for properties in a geographic area. - Establishes market values and property rating in support of real estate investments in equity and loans. - Reviews appraisals for quality of development and appropriate report content to ensure that the primary risk factors associated with the collateral have been addressed. - Prepares detailed report including descriptions of area and site, market data, and investment information. - Maintains market knowledge of real estate values, economic trends, and property developments. - Provides training for lower level appraisers/reviewers.
Basic Qualifications: 4+ years collateral appraisal experience.
Minimum Qualifications: - Must hold and maintain, at a minimum, a Certified Real Estate Appraiser credential. - Some overtime required when necessary.
Preferred Skills: - National review experience is preferred.
