Genesis10 is actively seeking Business Analysts/Business Systems Analysts for a variety of consulting roles in the Financial Services, Insurance, Mortgage, Brokerage, Medical Device, Healthcare, Agribusiness and Retail industries. This excellent opportunity is with Fortune 500 companies in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area. The projects are expected to last six (6) to (12) twelve plus months.

Responsibilities:

Elicit requirements by facilitating meetings/brainstorming sessions via various methodologies, i.e. JAD, RUP, RAD.

Validation/creation of business strategic objectives.

Create BRDs (Use cases, traceability matrixes, etc.)

Define specific data scenarios to test specific conditions.

Create training guides for use in instructor-lead or self help training.

Provide end user support of questions/issues.

Develop IT infrastructure knowledge within client systems.

Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

5+years as a Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst

Key experience – Requirements Gathering in Waterfall and Agile environments, Use Cases, UAT, Full SDLC involvement

Business and/or Technical side.

Relevant industry experience may including one or more of the following:

Financial Services - Brokerage, Insurance/Annuities, Mutual Funds, Merger/Acquisition, Clearing, Asset Management, Mortgage and/or Trading background.

Healthcare - Claims Processing, Compliance, Clinical IT, Medical Device or related health services programs.

Retail - Store Experience, E-Commerce/Web, Mobile Apps, Marketing, etc.

Agribusiness – Supply chain, commodities, animal feed and nutrition, food processing, etc.

Highly organized and detail-oriented. Ability to multi-task in order to ensure that project deliverables are met.

Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and to work with a date driven effort.

Skills in MS Office and Visio.

Local Candidates to the Minneapolis/ St. Paul area.

Experience on mid- to large-scale projects preferred.

Desired Experience/Skills:

Project methodology experience in Waterfall, Agile, etc. required.

Excellent communication and requirements gathering skills.
