Business Analyst
- Define and translate business use-cases into usable and effective software.
Identify procedural and technical gaps in achieving business objectives and define solutions both with and without software.
Document clear specifications on how things work today and how they will work following from new development.
Actively participate in or facilitate team and client meetings.
Train staff and clients through both formal and informal training programs.
Collaborate with quality assurance staff to define accurate and complete test conditions, test plans, and conduct User Acceptance Testing.
Requirements:
- Minimum four (4) years of engineering, software or IT experience.
Minimum two (2) years documenting software requirements and business use-cases.
Bachelor's degree in agriculture, computer science, engineering, MIS, or equivalent business experience.
General understanding in the areas of Internet, Intranets, Extranets, client/server architectures, and how client/server and web-based systems interface with each other.
Familiarity with software development life cycle.
Proven analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
