Mandate (Job Description)
Manage banker's or banker manager's day-to-day activities and may coordinate workflow of coordinator levels I and II. Provide necessary support to the lender in establishing, maintaining and enhancing account relationships. Responsible for obtaining essential documentation for the approval of various loans.
Key Accountabilities
SPECIFIC DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES * Banker Support 45 - 60% Assist officers with work to be completed to include: * Attend loan closings * Prepare loan requests and forward to appropriate centralized doc prep area. * Review all loan documentation prior to closing for accuracy and completeness. * Once loan documents have been signed, complete loan disbursements, and forward completed documentation to appropriate centralized area. * Provide assistance to loan officers by obtaining credit information for use by Regional Credit Center in the approval of lending decisions on new, renewal or extension loans. * Meet with customers to complete information and loan documentation. * Prepare write-ups, correspondence and review various reports * Follow through on special requests from customers and officers * May review exception list, research file for missing documents and review documents for exceptions. Draft appropriate letters or other document requests to customers and coordinates follow-up with customer as necessary. * May conduct credit investigations and analyze routine credit information pertaining to loans Assist senior lending officer in the administration of duties within department. * Coordinate and follow-up with direct reports on assignments * Prepare management reports * Distribute and review sales reports. * Customer Service 20 - 30% Answer questions from customers and officers to include such things as: * Service charges * Account activity * Line items listed on statements * Loan increases and decreases * Issues with other areas of the bank May open Direct Deposit Accounts for customers. May perform wire transfer requests * Administrative Assistance 10-15% Answer phones Open and route mail Photocopy and file Manage officer's calendar Coordinate mailings Coordinate customer outings * Other duties as assigned 5% May include such things as: * Compile documentation necessary to complete officer changes on customers and accounts * Train other coordinators * Work Flow Management 0 - 20% Coordinate workflow of the Coordinator I and Coordinator II levels Direct workflow of administrative duties
